Summary: Overall we had an amazing experience! Rachel, our waitress at Landshark restaurant was our first impression of the resort since we arrived early and had lunch to kill some time. Let me just say, she was beyond perfection! That girl's customer service abilities were top knotch! She is meant for management! A manager came to our table as well and even checked on our reservation for us at the front desk while we ate; in hopes we could check in early! We were very impressed with her doing that for us! When we went to check in, there was a man working the front desk (young, blonde gentleman) who seemed to be annoyed when his manager (a delightful woman with long black hair) or anyone for that matter that talked to him. He was young so you don’t expect perfection, but again…Rachel in the restaurant was also young and she absolutely crushed her customer service skills! He just wasn’t personable. Some people are just not meant for hospitality jobs l guess, but hopefully this was just an off day….we all have those! My only other complaint was the lifeguards…I get that it is probably not fun (or well paid) to sit by a loud pool all day, but I’d say 4 out of 6 of the lifeguards we saw looked MISERABLE the whole time we were there;just MEAN MUGGIN! The cleaning staff however were so friendly and pleasant-not only did they say hello but they would thank us for visiting…and they weren’t even taking care of OUR rooms. We truly enjoyed our stay, and we would recommend this hotel to friends.
